Hebrews 12:22-23 “But you have come to Mount Zion…”
Hebrews 12:22-23 But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven.
Why do we forget who we really are? I hate this world and puny empty lifestyle it has to offer, when I think of the magnificent World waiting for me. This mortal life is just a crusty shell compared to the awesomeness of the next.
Each day I pray to see that World today. I know I don’t have to live with my nose to the ground. I don’t have to be saturated with the quailing of this garbage heap. There is a City of truth. There is a land of peace. There is a World where there is no mask, blinding me from my real identity. I want to tap into that today. That is my real destiny.
